Dr. Mark D. Noar & Associates/Endoscopic Microsurgery Associates specializes in the treatment of hepatitis, and is a study center for a variety of clinical trials.
Current ongoing trials include a Schering Pharmaceutical sponsored study protocol #R97-023 using Intron A and Ribavirin)for the treatment of Hepatitis C. We are actively recruiting Hepatitis C patients for this protocol who HAVE NOT received Interferon previouslyThese trials involve Intron A, 3 million units injected subcutaneously three times a week along with oral Ribavirin capsules 1000 mg. daily in 2 divided doses.
Patients are monitored at regular intervals; office visits at week 0, 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, 16.......continuing at 4 week intervals through week 48General health status, side effects, liver functions and other lab parameters are monitored at each visit by our dedicated Study Protocols CoordinatorHepatitis A Hepatitis B Hepatitis C
