in 1989. We are the first outpatient Endoscopy Center certified with
Commendation by the JCAHO. Licensed by the Health Care Financing
Administration (HFCA), and certified by the State of Maryland

EMA was the first practice in the region to have Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), enabling us to examine rectal, esophageal, gastric, pancreatic and biliary tract tumors nonivasively. Additionally, EUS enables us to better examine the biliary tract when normal ultrasound is negative in suspected cholecystitis. |
We maintain the highest level of communication with the referring physicians through quick processing and delivery of patient records, including color labeled photographs. This ensures continued care form the referring physician. | Dr. Mark Noar is an internationally recognized expert in ERCP and Sphincterotomies. He teaches ERCP courses internationally and has invented ERCP instruments. Dr. Noar is also accomplished in Motility and Endoscopic Ultrasound |

full motility lab, pH monitors and biofeedback.
